Event Sales and Planner: The Merion the Premier Event and catering facility in South Jersey is in search of a professional and experienced sales person. Job Description Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new client base. Meet and discuss with clients on the specifics of the event and convey information to appropriate departments. You will be responsible for the initial contact, follow ups and bookings of events. Maintain meticulous record of sales activity. Conduct off-site activities including sales calls, sales meetings and public relations activities. Submit regular sales activity reports to Senior Management. Works closely with Senior Management in coordinating event packages. Qualified Individual will posses an Energetic and Enthusiastic personality Minimum one year of experience in a similar sales capacity is an advantage. Experienced in Social Media Platforms. Experienced in Event and Catering Sales Excellent interpersonal abilities to handle the high profile and corporate customers. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Possess excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to articulate professionally creative ideas and services which are offered.
